We would like to extend a warm invitation to any fellow actors/writers/singers, to join us on Tuesdays from 12 noon until 3pm.  We meet upstairs at the British Legion Club, 1 – 3 West Jesmond Avenue, NE2 3EX.

 Originally the Live Wires Theatre Company was formed at the  Live Theatre, Newcastle, specifically for the Over 50s age band, interested in writing and performing.

 Now we are independent and have widened the age range to allow for greater flexibility in our future shows.  Our youngest member is twenty and our oldest is in his eighties, though he certainly doesn’t look it!

 We have successfully produced themed shows mainly devised by ourselves and performed to community groups in venues around Northumberland and Newcastle. We have also produced several films and a radio play, all devised by the members.
